VISUAL is one of Ireland’s leading contemporary art spaces. A project of Carlow Arts Centre Ltd. (CACL), it aims to enrich, inspire and improve lives everyday through Art. Comprised of a state-of-the-art theatre, a suite of exhibition and gallery spaces it has a notable programming focus on STEM topics – a key strength of the Carlow region.
One of Ireland’s largest gallery spaces, it has built a reputation for projects of scale and ambition unparalleled in Ireland. Offering 4 unique gallery spaces, including studio and digital galleries, all spaces which can be tailored to suit requirements.
The George Bernard Shaw Theatre includes a performance space and associated workshop. Home to many amateur and professional groups, its impressive programming schedule receives national, international, and regional touring productions along with local productions.
